Walk away money is not about pessimism. It is about having a door, in every room of your life, that opens from the inside.

How it works

Three steps. Quiet by design.

You decide the number. We help you get there without drawing attention to it.

Step 01

Pick your number.

Three months of expenses. Six months. A full year out. The number that lets you sleep. Whatever that looks like for you.

Step 02

Find the slack.

We scan your spending for the small leaks, the round-ups, the once-a-year windfalls. Then we route them quietly into your reserve.

Step 03

Lock it down.

Face ID at every open. Generic app icon. No notifications. The app does not advertise its existence to anyone but you.

Privacy by default

Nobody needs to know it exists.

Walk away money was designed for the parts of your life you keep to yourself. Every default is set to protect you.

  • Face ID at every launch. A glance opens the app. A glance is all anyone else gets.
  • Generic app icon. Looks like a calculator. Nothing on your home screen flags what it does.
  • No lock-screen notifications. No "you saved $50 today" popping up at dinner.
  • Quick-hide. Tap twice and the screen becomes a neutral notepad.
  • End-to-end encrypted. Your data is unreadable to us. To anyone. Even with a court order.

Questions

Things people ask before joining.

Is this only for women leaving relationships?

No. Walk away money is for any moment you want the option to walk - from a bad job, a city that no longer fits, a friendship that has gone sideways, a relationship that has stopped working. The fund does not care what door you decide to walk through. It is there for whichever one you pick.

Is it a bank?

No. Your money stays in your own accounts, in your own name. We are a coach and a planner. We help you decide how much to set aside, where to put it, and how to keep building - without telling your joint accounts about it.

How is this different from a high-yield savings account?

A savings account holds money. Walk Away Money is the coach beside it. We figure out your number, help you find the slack in your monthly spending to fund it, and make sure the whole thing stays quiet.

We point you to the right high-yield account. We do not try to be one.

What does it cost?

The core app is free. A small subscription unlocks the coaching, the long-horizon planning, and the encrypted backup. Pricing is modest and will be final by the time invites go out.

Will my partner / parent / employer see it?

Not unless you choose to show them. The app icon is generic. The name on your home screen is whatever you want. There are no lock-screen notifications. A double-tap turns the screen into a plain notepad.

Your data is encrypted on the device. We cannot read it. Neither can a court order, a partner with your passcode, or a stranger with your phone.

When does early access open?

We are opening in small waves through the year. iOS first, then Android. Joining the waitlist puts you in the queue and lets us plan how many people to onboard at once.

Who is behind this?

A small team that has worked on quiet, well-built tools for the last decade. We are not a finance company. We are not collecting your data to resell it. The product earns its keep from a small monthly subscription and nothing else.
